Mateo Reggie is an artist from Maryland currently studying textiles at the Rhode Island School of Design, where he enjoys creating a range of materials, from organic forms which are inviting to the touch to satisfying striped fabrics shot through with copper wire. His work often engages with escapism and comfort by bringing fantastical shapes from imagination forward into reality. He's inspired by an ongoing interest in computer programming and digital art, alongside videogames and movies with an otherworldly atmosphere.
